Refunds are the processes by which money is given back to your customer. They can be created by an [API call](https://www.omise.co/refunds-api), or directly via the Dashboard with a single click of a [button](https://www.omise.co/refunding-charges).

Refunds can be either full or partial, depending on the payment method. When a merchant issues a refund to a buyer, no additional processing fees will be charged. However, the service fees (transaction fees + 7% VAT) will only be refunded to the merchant in certain cases.
