TOKYO – February 13, 2023 – Opn, the one-stop financial solutions company, today began offering PayPay as an online payment option for Opn Payments’ merchant network in Japan.

The new integration with PayPay, whose payment service boasts over 53 million users,* enables a simple and speedy online checkout – a quick scan of a QR code on the payment page with the PayPay mobile app eliminates the manual entry of payment information.

Opn Payments’ expanded capability not only elevates the online shopping experience for consumers but also benefits merchants. Opn’s dynamic QR code technology allows merchants to streamline their operations workflow by eliminating the need for manual reporting and reconciliation of each transaction.

“We are delighted to support the business growth of Opn Payments’ customers in Japan through the introduction of PayPay as a payment method. The addition of the widely-used mobile payment service also contributes to a more inclusive fintech infrastructure in line with our vision of enabling access to the digital economy for everyone,” said Maxim Rokhline, Chief Product Officer of Opn.

The addition of PayPay underscores Opn’s commitment to making digital finance seamless and borderless for both people and businesses. Opn Payments currently supports over 60 payment methods in Japan and Southeast Asia.
