Two-factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security by verifying a user’s identity, reducing the risk of unauthorized access to the account.
Download the authentication app (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, Duo Mobile, or 1Password) to your mobile device and follow the instructions below to set it up:
On the dashboard, click “Two-factor Authentication” under the Account in the top right corner.
Click "Enable 2FA" to setup your verification.
A setup confirmation will be sent to your email. Click “Enable 2FA for my account” to continue.
Scan the QR code with the authenticator app on your mobile device, or enter your email address and secret password in your authenticator app. After entering the code, enter the 6-digit number (verification code) generated by the authenticator app into the space provided and click “Verify code”.
Once 2FA is enabled, a set of recovery codes will be displayed. Please save your recovery codes in a safe place. These codes can be used to log in if you lose access to the authentication app on your device. Each of these codes can only be used once.
Click “I have securely saved these codes” then you are all set.
When signing in to the dashboard the next time, after entering your username and password, you will be asked to enter your verification code.
Once 2FA is enabled:
If you need to reset 2FA, you can disable it by following these steps, then re-enable 2FA.
Navigate to “Two-factor Authentication” under Account in the top right corner.
Click “Disable 2FA”
Enter your password and authentication code.
If you lose or forget your recovery codes, you can generate a new list from the Two-factor Authentication page.
