PayPay

Payment Method

Opn Payments launches new integration with PayPay for e-commerce businesses in Japan starting February 13, 2023. Opn merchants will be able to accept the most popular mobile payment method with over 53 million registered users,1 allowing their customers to simply scan and pay using the PayPay application.

Expanding Payment Options

The number of QR code payment users in Japan is increasing every year. 2 PayPay is a payment service with the largest number of users of any service. By accepting PayPay, Opn merchants can reach over 53 million users using the PayPay application.

Simply Scan And Pay

When a customer selects PayPay, a QR code is displayed on the payment screen. The customer simply scans the QR code and pays. This eliminates the need to enter card information and speeds up the payment process. It also helps to reduce shopping cart abandonment rates.

Dynamic QR Code

Opn's PayPay solution utilizes dynamic QR code technology that allows merchants to attach specific transaction information such as [Order ID], [Store ID], and [Location Name] to a QR code transaction. This feature significantly reduces the time and resources required for reporting and reconciliation, making it a more efficient and professional solution compared to generic static QR codes.

How to Apply For PayPay

PayPay is available to Opn merchants in Japan. Please fill out the sign-up form and our sales representative will contact you with more information.
